Stolen Youth. Acrylic, Canva pad, A2 (16.5 x 23.4 in)2023. Not for sale

On February 24, 2022, he had a second exam for entering the college at the Police Academy. It was his dream which he chose so carefully and prepared so hard. He had lived in Kyiv for almost 3 years. The explosions at 4.30 opened a new countdown for all Ukrainians – a new reality. Dreams were destroyed, lives were taken, and a nation was starting to be destroyed. He was 21 at the beginning of the war. He is from Novaya Kakhovka, but was in Kyiv. He has long been making adult decisions and we communicate as two mature people. But for me, he is my son, my child. Our children became adults more quickly: they know how to hold weapons, they have already lost friends in hostilities, they know what pain is, how to worry and support others, save people and cats. Before the war, he begged me to leave Nova Kakhovka, because he said that we were occupied first. He was in touch, worried for a month until I managed to leave. There are still important things that his life is busy with now, those that not every adult can do… Maybe someday I can write about it. You can’t get used to it. War is against all the laws of the universe. I have the good fortune to communicate with him, hearing his voice, because I am in England, and he is in Kyiv. He is the only one from my close family right now. Warm hugs are sorely lacking: last time they were in January 2022. Proud him. Believe in him. Pray about him

29,7x42cm, Watercolours and Acrylic on Paper. 2023
This amazing place is on my wish list! It was my friend’s photo, which inspired me to paint. I was impressed with the spectacular landscape and amazing vibe. Snowdrops in Thursley (Series: Inspired by the Nature of Great Britain). Acrylic, Canvas pad. 2023. 30x25cm (36.5×32.5cm with the frame)

The Snowdrops was created in the UK, where I arrived from my hometown Nova Kakhovka. My city was occupied from the first day of the war and is still occupied. There were no “green corridors” and no opportunities to leave the city for over a month. I went through the battlefield and a minefield near Kryvyi Rih, I know what it is when shells explode near you, how to see the parts of torn bodies in the military form on the broken armoured vehicles flash in front of your face and I already know about panic attacks… I moved to Europe on 04/04/2022. “Adventitiously” I came to Julia in Germany for a few days in the summer of 2022, where she inspired me to start painting again. I tried acrylic and oil for the first time. I thank everyone who supported me in my way: gifts of materials and paints. The war continues. The destruction of my country and people continues. Every Ukrainian is under stress. Creativity helps me deal with it and pray for our victory and everyone. This is my third acrylic work: a piece of spring in a cottage garden where I spent some time. Thanks to Archie (its owner), I could come to 🇬🇧 and stay here. Archie continues to help and support me. His garden is one of my outlets in turbulent moments in my life.
Curiosity | Hack the Matrix (Series: Alternating Reality), 2024, mixed media on canvas, 61х76cm
Only ‘Daredevils’ and ‘Creators’ can truly transform this world and offer humanity hope for flourishing and healthy civilizations. The algorithms that shape our world, combined with the pervasive control and zombification exerted by the media hinder our ability to see and feel the truth. The whole universe resides within you. See, feel, and accept your uniqueness by letting go of all judgments about yourself and breaking free from the cage into which they are trying to cram you. What has now become possible?

Flourishing. 25×30, Acrylic. Canvas. May 2022 Not for Sale

I was forced to flee the “Russian world” from Nova Kakhovka (my city). I had been passing through Julia’s place in Germany and spent here 4 amazing days. I was invited to her Art class. Julia is my school friend. She has been living in Germany for a long time. Julia was able to pick up her mother and friends from Georgia when they left our city through Crimea. Our city is still under occupation from the first day of the war… lt was my first acrylic work and it was nice to hear words of support for Ukraine from Julia’s students, but it wasn’t like that everywhere, unfortunately…
